Membership
The cost
to become a member of the Modesto Ballroom Club is $25 per person and offers
discount admission to each dance. Membership dues help to cover the costs of
facility rental fees, bands/recorded music, insurance and other minor costs.

A note about membership:
Our Membership Goal is at least
100 members; with at least 10% or ten (10) members purchasing
the Gold card. We welcome new members to join the BDC, and
thank the renewing members for your continued support.
To sum it all
up, the BDC is a Social Network – A combined evening of
friends, music, dance & snacks make the experience fun and
memorable. Join and share in the experience!
…As in any business or non-profit
organization, a foundation budget is needed to help execute the
programs and benefits that can be offered. This is where our
Membership Drive is crucial to our financial success. As some
may see it as a plea for money, we see it as your pledge for our
financial planning. Even though our sole survival is not by
membership dues alone, it does help us plan some of the basics
we have become accustomed to like bands or even our liability
insurance. In addition to Membership, attendance is the second
most crucial key to our success. We have seen an economic hit
in our club’s attendance, as has other dance venues around the
Valley. We are hoping some of the benefits we are offering in
this upcoming Membership Drive will be enough to encourage you
to once again believe in us and help our vision stay intact, and
hopefully we all survive these times together.
Your Membership can also save you
money as well as help the BDC and its financial planning. By
becoming a Member during the drive; your dues will be $25 for
the BDC fiscal year; your dance admission is $7, which saves you
about $2 per dance when you total up the costs & dues; your
Membership will give you one (1) free dance entry at our Member
Appreciation dance; and your Membership will give you one (1)
entry coupon for a friend.
As an added benefit
to both you and the BDC, we again offer the Gold Card. The Gold
Card’s most valuable benefit is convenience, as well as giving
you 19 dance admissions for the price of 17. Convenience is
that you show your card at the door and never have to worry
about carrying cash. You receive all the Member benefits plus
an extra dance admission. The BDC is also able to add the
advance door admissions to the financial planning. It takes six
(6) Gold cards sold to pay our Liability Insurance for the year,
and also takes about eight (8) Gold Cards to pay for one
Saturday’s dance overhead expenses…
