About Us
Founded in
1987, the Modesto Ballroom Dance Club (BDC), which currently has more than 150
members, sponsors two ballroom dances per month. Dances occur on the first
Saturday and third Friday of most months from 8:00pm to 11:00pm. The
Modesto Ballroom Dance Club dance hall is located at 211 Bodem Dr (Scenic and Bodem). We currently have a “big
band” on the 1st Saturday of the month and play recorded music on the
3rd Friday of the month. There is a wide variety of ballroom music
(swing, foxtrot, waltz, rumba, cha-cha, tango, and more) and a large dance floor
to enjoy yourself. We encourage dancers of all levels to come join us in
enjoying an evening of dancing. Admission is $7 for members and $10 for non-members. For
those interested, dance lessons are also offered by “You Can Dance Company” before each
dance from 7:00 – 8:00pm and is included in the admission cost. Dances are
open to anyone age 16 and over.

Saturday, February 6, 2010.
February 19, 2010 is

Membership Drive - Our
membership drive is currently underway and this year our
membership goal is to obtain at least 100 members, and at least
10% of those being gold card members.
We welcome new members to join
the BDC, and thank the renewing members for your continued
